Just a few minutes after placing this order, I realized I had ordered the wrong part. That was obviously my mistake. So, I emailed immediately to cancel the order. Then, several days later, I sent another email with the original cancellation request attached. I got a response in a couple of days telling me they never got my email and the part was already in transit. I then had a bunch of back and forth with someone who I prefer not to speak to again who essentially told me that he didn’t get my email and that this conflict is bad for business (I’m sure there was a language barrier at work here). Finally, the person told me to send the part back whenever I received. Then I asked for a return shipping label and have been waiting for one for a few days.
First, it is not my fault they didn’t “receive” my email just minutes after I placed the order. Email delivery is confirmed by Gmail. Second, just say, “hey, my fault, something happened to the email, here is a shipping label and a refund” like any other company would have. European customer service is renowned for excellence so this is really the first bad customer service I’ve had with any euro company. Now, I’m still waiting on a shipping label and a refund for the part and shipping costs. I hope someone at this company sees this and contacts me because I certainly wasn’t expecting this lack of service.
